Store reviews after the package arrives, not at checkout

Citypicked asks by email once the package has arrived. Happy buyers go to Trustpilot or Google, and delivery complaints land in your inbox first.

The right moment

When to ask

01
A few days after shipping
Your store platform reports each shipped order through Zapier, Make or n8n. Set the delay per call, up to 7 days, so the package has long arrived.
02
Once the product has been used
Shoes need breaking in, candles need burning. A reminder a week later only goes to people who have not rated yet.
03
After an exchange went smoothly
When the size was wrong and the exchange was quick, send that customer a request by hand. They just saw your service up close.

Where your customers review

Shoppers check Trustpilot before they order from a store they do not know. Google belongs on the list if your store has a business profile there.

What changes for you

Shipping and return complaints stay private: Buyers who tap a few stars because the package was late or the size was off write in a private form. It goes to up to 10 addresses, such as your support team.
Connected through Zapier, Make or n8n: If your store platform supports one of them, pass name and email to the automation link. The email then goes out by itself at the time you set.
300 or more emails a month included: Basic includes 300 email requests a month, Pro 1,000 and Business 2,500, and you can book more. For an online store email is usually all you need, no text credits required.

Common questions

Is there a Shopify app?

No, there is no direct integration. If your store platform works with Zapier, Make or n8n, it passes name and email to the automation link after each order (Pro plan). Otherwise upload the week's orders as a CSV.

Can I offer Trustpilot and Google at the same time?

Yes. Both appear on your review page and happy buyers pick one. If you want to build up one site, switch on only that one and buyers go straight there.

Some customers order every week. Do they get an email every week?

No. By default there are 30 days between two requests to the same address. You can choose 7, 14, 60 or 90, and anyone who unsubscribes is never asked again.

What happens to our order data?

Citypicked keeps only the name, email address, the star rating and any private feedback. Orders, products and shipping addresses never reach Citypicked.

Do texts to customers in the US work right away?

SMS to the US and Canada need a sender number first. We set it up for you; it takes about a week. Email, WhatsApp and QR codes work from the first day.
