Guests who checked out yesterday get an email today. Upload the departures list, or let your hotel software pass the data if it works with Zapier, Make or n8n.

At the front desk on check-out
The guest says it was a great stay. Your front desk enters name and email and picks tomorrow morning, so the request arrives once they are home.

At breakfast or in the room
A table card at the breakfast buffet or on the desk in the room also reaches travel companions whose email you do not have.

On their last morning, guests linger over coffee. A table card with a code reaches everyone at the table, including guests who booked through a travel site. Extra codes for rooms or the lobby are counted separately.

What changes for you

Room issues go to housekeeping first: Guests who give fewer stars than you set write in a private form. The email goes out right away to up to 10 addresses, such as the front desk, housekeeping and the general manager.
Business travelers are not asked every week: Someone who checks in every Tuesday still gets at most one request in 30 days. Set the gap anywhere from 7 to 90 days, depending on how often your regulars come back.
One reminder after the trip: After a vacation, work and laundry pile up. Guests who have not rated after 3 days get a short reminder, and nobody else does.

Our hotel software has no connection to Citypicked. Does it still work?

Yes. Export yesterday's departures as a CSV and upload the list. Citypicked can spread the sending over several hours. If your software works with Zapier, Make or n8n, the automation link on the Pro plan sends the email after every check-out by itself.

Many of our guests book through Booking.com. What does Citypicked do for those?

A Booking.com review takes a Booking.com reservation, but every guest sees the site on your review page if you switch it on. So put Google first, where any guest can leave a review no matter how they booked.

Won't an email the day after check-out feel pushy?

You write it in your own words, with the same greeting and signature as your booking confirmation. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and anyone who unsubscribes is never asked again. It only goes out within your sending hours, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. by default.

Our front desk works in shifts. Can everyone send requests?

Yes. Every team member can send requests, and Analytics shows how many came from whom. Basic includes 3 team seats (including yours), Pro and Business any number.

Do texts to customers in the US work right away?

SMS to the US and Canada need a sender number first. We set it up for you; it takes about a week. Email, WhatsApp and QR codes work from the first day.
