The right moment
When to ask
- 01
While the next round is poured
The sticker sits right where phones end up anyway. Guests waiting on the next drink scan and tap their stars.
- 02
After the birthday in the back room
Someone booked the room, so you have a name and mobile number. The text goes out the next day, within your sending hours.
- 03
After trivia, live music or the big game
Nights like these bring in people who don't usually come. A code on the coasters reaches the first-timers too.
How it works
One scan, one tap, one review
Review sites
Where your customers review
People deciding where to go tonight check Google Maps, so Google goes first. Facebook follows, and you choose which sites guests see on your review page.

Text message
And a text the day after a party
Birthdays, bachelor parties and work parties come with a mobile number. Enter it after closing, and Citypicked holds the text until your sending hours start the next day.

What changes for you
- No texts in the middle of the night
- Citypicked only sends within your sending hours, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. unless you change them. Anything you enter after closing goes out at the next allowed time, the next morning.
- A bad night stays between you and the guest
- Guests annoyed by a long wait at the bar who tap two stars get a short private form. You get an email right away and track it as new, in progress or done.
- Every bartender can send
- On Pro and Business there is no limit on team members, so part-time bartenders get a login too. Whoever ran the party enters the host, and Analytics shows who sent how many requests.
Real businesses, real stars.

Common questions
Where should the stickers go?
Wherever people sit and wait: on the tables, along the bar, out on the patio. Give each code its own label. Citypicked counts scans per code for the last 30 days, so you see which spot works.
People come here to unwind. Won't this bug them?
Nobody has to scan the code. Texts only go to party hosts, only with their permission and only within your sending hours. Every text has a stop link, and Citypicked asks the same person at most once in 30 days.
Most of our parties are on Saturday. Will the text go out Sunday?
Only if you switch Sundays on. By default Citypicked does not send on Sundays, so the text after a Saturday party arrives Monday. With Sundays on, it goes out when your sending hours start.
Can guests review us on Facebook, where we post our events?
Yes, if you switch Facebook on for your review page. Guests who give at least the stars you set then see every site you turned on, such as Google and Facebook.
Do texts to customers in the US work right away?
SMS to the US and Canada need a sender number first. We set it up for you; it takes about a week. Email, WhatsApp and QR codes work from the first day.
