The right moment

When to ask

01
In the last lesson
The teacher points at the code on the wall for the last few minutes. Everyone has a phone, and students flying home tomorrow can rate you while still in the room.
02
When the certificate arrives
For many students, the certificate is why they came. Once results are out, send an email to everyone who passed.
03
When a summer intensive ends
Intensive course students often leave town the same weekend. Upload the class list on the last day, before they scatter across the world.

Review sites

Where your customers review

Students find you on Google, often while still in their home country, so Google comes first. Facebook helps if former students follow your school there.

And a poster for the last lesson

Hang a poster in every classroom, each with its own label. Citypicked counts the scans per room, so you see which classes rate you at the end and which do not.

What changes for you

Email instead of foreign phone numbers: Many students have no US number. Email reaches any address worldwide and needs no credits. Basic includes 300 email requests a month, Pro 1,000 and Business 2,500.
Course complaints reach you privately: If a mid-course teacher change went badly or the pace was too fast, a low rating brings it to you as private feedback. Up to 10 addresses get an email right away.
A reminder reaches students back home: Students who have already flown home still read email. A reminder three days later goes only to those who have not rated, wherever they are now.

Language schools

Common questions

Can the review page show several languages?

Yes. The page shows in the language of the student's phone, for example English, German, Spanish, French or Turkish. Your own texts apply in your main language; other languages get our translated default texts.

We use course management software. Can requests go out at course end on their own?

Yes, as long as your course software works with Zapier, Make or n8n. At course end it passes name and email to your automation link, and Citypicked asks after the delay you set for that link. You need the Pro plan for that.

We run schools in several cities. Does each one get a separate page?

Yes. Each school becomes its own location with its own review page, texts, codes and sending hours. Each page can have its own main language.

Can teachers send requests from the classroom?

Yes, as team members, right from their phone after the last lesson. Basic includes 3 team seats (including yours), Pro and Business any number.

Do texts to customers in the US work right away?

SMS to the US and Canada need a sender number first. We set it up for you; it takes about a week. Email, WhatsApp and QR codes work from the first day.
