Therapy ended well and the goodbye has been talked through. An email the next morning gives the client time to decide alone, with no one watching.

Some clients say on their own that they would recommend you. Then send the request the same day, and nobody has to feel obliged.

Several people were in the room. Ask only the person you agreed it with, and only at their own email address.

Only the clients you choose: Without an automation link, no request goes out that you did not send yourself. You decide client by client whether and when to ask.
Nothing about therapy in the inbox: You write the subject and text of the email yourself. You can leave out the word therapy entirely, in case someone else reads that inbox.
Criticism stays in the room: Lower ratings lead to a form only you and your team see. You get an email right away and can answer personally, in your own time.

Common questions

Isn't it inappropriate to ask clients for reviews?

That is your call. Some practices only ask at the end and only where it feels right, others just leave cards in the waiting room. You decide whether a reminder follows at all, and anyone who unsubscribes is never asked again.

How anonymous is this for my clients?

Nobody outside your practice sees who gave how many stars on your review page. A public review is written by the client on the site itself, under whatever name they use there.

I'm a solo practice without scheduling software. Does it work?

Yes. Type in name and email and send when it suits you: right away, in 1, 2 or 4 hours, or the next morning. Basic includes 300 email requests a month, Pro 1,000 and Business 2,500.

What does Citypicked store about my clients?

Name, email or mobile number, the stars and private feedback. Nothing about sessions, diagnoses or what was discussed. If a client asks, you can delete them completely.

Do texts to customers in the US work right away?

SMS to the US and Canada need a sender number first. We set it up for you; it takes about a week. Email, WhatsApp and QR codes work from the first day.
