Hi Karen, it's been a month of cleans with Maple Lane. Happy with us so far? A short review would help a lot: citypicked.com/t/aB3x9KStop: citypicked.com/u/x7

The right moment

When to ask

01
After the first month
After the first clean, the client cannot know yet whether you are reliable. After four weeks they do. That is when you send the request by hand.
02
When the move-out walk-through went fine
After a move-out clean, the tenant only relaxes once the landlord has walked through. When they tell you it went fine, send the request right then.
03
In the small office
In an office, a person reviews you, not the company: the owner or office manager who hired you. Ask that person by email, for example after the first deep clean.

The card left on the counter

After a deep clean or move-out clean, your team leaves a card with the code by the sink. The client walks in, sees the clean kitchen and the card next to it. For offices, give the code its own label and count those scans separately.

Cleaning services

What changes for you

Clean every week, ask once in a while: Citypicked asks the same client at most once in 30 days. For regulars, set 60 or 90 days, and that holds even when your bookings come in automatically.
The missed bathroom gets fixed, not posted: If your team missed something, a low rating turns into private feedback instead of a public review. Mark it In progress in your inbox and have someone fix it at the next visit.
Ask all your office clients in one go: Clean for several offices? Upload the office managers as a list, and Citypicked spreads the emails over a few hours. Basic includes 300 email requests a month, Pro 1,000 and Business 2,500.

Common questions

We clean many homes every week. How often does each client get a request?

As rarely as you set it. The default is at most one request in 30 days, and you can pick 7, 14, 30, 60 or 90 days. Reminders only go to clients who have not rated yet.

Clients trust us with their keys. What does Citypicked know about them?

Only name, mobile number or email, the stars and any private feedback. No addresses, no keys, no cleaning plans. If a client asks, an owner or manager removes them from Citypicked completely.

With office clients, who do I ask?

The person who hired you: the office manager, the practice owner, the building manager. Email works best there. The offices you clean do not need their own locations; your company is the location.

My cleaners should not have to write anything. Is that possible?

Yes. You set the text once, with a live preview. Your team only types name and number, and Citypicked fills in the name, your business name and the link. Basic includes 3 team seats (including yours), Pro and Business any number.

Do texts to customers in the US work right away?

SMS to the US and Canada need a sender number first. We set it up for you; it takes about a week. Email, WhatsApp and QR codes work from the first day.
