Reviews that don't break the calm after a massage

Right after a massage, nobody wants to reach for a phone. Citypicked sends the request a few hours later in your own words, and criticism stays between you and your client.

SStill Waters Massage

Hi Sarah, Thank you for coming in. We hope your shoulders still feel as light as they did when you left. If you have a moment, we would be grateful to hear how it went. Warm regards, Daniel at Still Waters Massage

The right moment

When to ask

01
A few hours after the session
Choose “In 4 hours” under When as you enter the client. By then they are home and notice how loose their neck still feels. Outside your sending hours, it waits for the morning.
02
After a gift certificate visit
Someone redeeming a gift certificate has often never been to you before. That first impression helps others booking their first massage with you.
03
When the back finally cooperates
When a client tells you the tension has been gone for weeks, that is the moment. Send the request as soon as they have left.

And a code for those who want to say something now

Some clients like to leave a review before they go. A small stand at reception does it, without you having to ask. Those who prefer to rate at home in peace get the email.

What changes for you

A quiet tone, in your words: You write the email, text and reminder yourself and see in the preview how they come across. No sales pitch and no exclamation marks, if that suits you better.
Too much pressure, a chilly room: Few people say that to your face. In the private form clients write it down honestly, and you read it the same day in your inbox.
No buzzing phones on Sunday: At night and on Sundays your clients hear nothing from you. Requests only go out during your sending hours, set to 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. out of the box, and on Sundays only once you allow it.

Common questions

Some clients come for medical reasons. What ends up in Citypicked?

Only name, mobile number or email, the stars and private feedback. Conditions, referrals and treatment notes never go into Citypicked. You decide on every send whom to ask, and you confirm their permission each time.

Gift certificates are usually bought by someone else. Whom do I ask?

The person who was on your table. You have their number or email from the booking. The buyer was not there and cannot judge the massage.

My booking software already sends reminders. Can it trigger the request too?

If it works with Zapier, Make or n8n, yes, through the automation link on the Pro plan. Set the delay to a few hours so the request does not land in the quiet right after the session.

I am only listed on Google. Is that enough?

Yes. With only Google switched on, happy clients go straight there without a choice to make. You can add more sites at any time.

Do texts to customers in the US work right away?

SMS to the US and Canada need a sender number first. We set it up for you; it takes about a week. Email, WhatsApp and QR codes work from the first day.
