What changes for you
- Lifted gel reaches you first
- If the gel lifts after a few days, your client taps a few stars and tells you privately. You get an email and can offer her a quick fix right away.
- Sending hours for late evenings
- By default Citypicked sends from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. If you are open late, move the end time, anything between 5 a.m. and 11 p.m. works.
- Count manicures and pedicures separately
- Give the code at the pedicure chair its own label. Analytics then shows whether clients scan more after a manicure or after a pedicure.

Nobody grabs a phone with wet polish. Where should the code go?
With gel the surface is set after the lamp, so a phone is no problem. For regular polish, put a second code at the register where clients pay once their nails are dry. Citypicked counts both separately.
What happens to my clients' phone numbers?
Citypicked stores name, number, the stars and private feedback, nothing else. Every text carries a stop link, anyone who opts out is never asked again, and you can delete a client completely on request.
Some clients don't like texts from businesses. Can I skip them?
Yes. Nobody gets a text unless you send it, and you confirm their permission each time. Those clients can still scan the code at the table.
Can each nail tech send from their own phone?
Yes, each one logs in as a team member and can send requests. Analytics shows how many requests each person sent.
Do texts to customers in the US work right away?
SMS to the US and Canada need a sender number first. We set it up for you; it takes about a week. Email, WhatsApp and QR codes work from the first day.
